"Ryan Campbell was born an artist. Silent until a few days after his first birthday, he quietly and unexpectedly mouthed the word ‘painting’ while pointing at one on the wall. He lived in South Africa until his early teens, when he was moved with his family, kicking and screaming, to live in Ireland.

Creating artwork in the dark and industrial workshop called his mind, Ryan is sometimes distant, often moody, relatively fussy and prone to outbursts of sudden charm.

Drawing on a variety of memories and experiences, he suspiciously embraces the commercial art world, whilst a myriad of digitally manipulated superheroes keep watch.

Ryan now lives in Ireland eagerly awaiting what lies around the next corner."
